Gadgetory
How to use the app, backups, and unlocking unlimited devices.
Gadgetory is a personal device tracker: it helps you keep a record of the devices you own, from the day you buy them to the day you let them go.
You can log purchases, repairs, battery replacements, accessories, cleaning or maintenance, and the eventual sale, gift, or disposal of a device, all on a timeline for each device. Gadgetory does not publish or share your records with anyone else.

Use "Add a device" from Home or your device list. Only a name is required — you can add a photo, category, purchase date, and price later.
On your device. Gadgetory does not automatically send your data to a server.
Up to 5. Devices you've already registered stay fully viewable and editable no matter how many you have.
Purchasing Gadgetory Unlimited removes the device limit so you can register as many as you like. It's a one-time purchase — not a monthly or yearly subscription. The App Store shows the current price on the purchase screen.
Yes. Use "Restore purchases" on the Unlock Unlimited screen or in Settings. It checks your purchase history under the same Apple Account — use it after reinstalling the app or switching devices.
No, Gadgetory does not send push or local notifications. Warranty dates you enter are shown on the device's details and can be used to sort your device list.
Use "Let it go" on a device's details to mark it as sold, gifted, or disposed of. This isn't deletion — its photos and history move to the Archive, and you can move it back to Devices if you change your mind.
Yes. Settings → "Backup & Restore" creates a single file containing your records and photos, then opens your device's own "Save" screen so you can choose where to keep it. Available save locations depend on your device.
To restore, choose "Restore from backup" and pick a saved file. Restoring replaces the data currently stored in Gadgetory with the data in that backup — Gadgetory shows a confirmation before it starts, and your Gadgetory Unlimited purchase isn't affected either way. Create a backup first if you want to keep your current records. Photos are matched back to their devices where possible; if a particular photo can't be restored, the device itself still is.
Data stored on your device may be lost. Back up anything you want to keep before deleting the app.
